Two new Trustees join the LPFF

Anonymous 01 October 2014

The Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Trustees.

Dennis Hone CBE joins as the new Treasurer in succession to Bill Bilimoria who stepped down in June after five years sterling service. Dennis has recently joined MACE as Chief Finance Director from the London Legacy Development Corporation where he was Chief Executive since 2012. Before that he spent seven years as Finance and Corporate Service Director and Chief Executive of the Olympic Delivery Authority where he played a pivotal role in delivering a hugely successful Olympic Games and ensuring that Games’ infrastructure was delivered on time and on budget. Prior to his time with the ODA he was Chief Operating Officer for English Partnerships. With a great fondness for team sports which he believes can have a massive influence on the personal development of young people, Dennis is keen to help us in our mission to provide a place to play sport forever.

Henrietta Martin-Fisher also joins the Trustee board at the same time. Her full time role has been as Finance Business Partner for the British Council and before that she was Senior Manager at PKF (UK) LLP. Henrietta fully appreciates the role that playing fields can play in bringing communities together and in improving the health and confidence of local people and wants to lend her extensive commercial and financial experience to our mission.

The Foundation is very fortunate to add such vast experience and expertise to the Trustee Board and there is little doubt that both will prove a huge asset to our work.
