Saracens match

Anonymous 29 February 2016

As part of our ongoing nominated charity relationship with Saracens our Head Office staff assisted by volunteers delivered a number of fun ball skill games at the match against Gloucester on 20th February. We set up two footgolf holes, one was a chipped hole in one challenge and the other was a par 3 hole that required considerable skill to avoid the bunker and lake. These challenges were greatly enjoyed by the children who took part and with coaching from volunteer Chris Hodge they were able to improve their par scores.

The ever popular hoopla stall made its return to Allianz Park with an added level of complexity this time due to the rather windy conditions. We also challenged spectators to test their keepy uppy skills with a rugby ball. The winner of the competition, Paul O’Carroll was presented with a signed matchball at half time by LPFF Operations Director Paul Baker.

Our thanks go to volunteers Chris Hodge, Gary Morford and David Baker who demonstrated great enthusiasm and commitment despite the wild and windy weather.
