Fundraising Manager

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to play a key role driving the organization forward. The successful applicant will be joining a committed and passionate Head Office team where there is a strong emphasis on teamwork and innovation.

The key responsibilities of the post will be:

a. Research fundraising opportunities and lead on the delivery and reporting of the fundraising strategy.

b. Research, complete, manage and monitor grant applications to charitable trusts or statutory bodies.

c. Build relationships with donors, including presenting to potential donors on an individual or group basis. This may include presenting to the Funding and Communications Committee and LPFF Council.

d. Increase income from legacy and in memoriam giving.

e. Take a lead role in organising a spring fundraising event targeted at a corporate audience.

f. To ensure that donors are kept informed of the outcomes of their donation.

g. Play an active role in devising and organising fundraising events and campaigns.

h. Manage and develop the Friends of LPFF.

i. Work with the Communications Manager in marketing the Charity’s brand, including the use and development of social media.

j. Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors on a database.

k. Manage the fundraising budget to ensure targets are met and any risks or issues reported to the CEO and Funding and Communications Committee.

Hours of work: Part-time. Flexible arrangement. Initial one year fixed term contract
