Set on our newly refurbished 3G pitch at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre, the Hub provides an exciting opportunity for us to work in collaboration our clubs to create a female friendly, pressure-free environment where girls can learn the game and flourish. In hosting monthly festivals for new players, mainly drawn from clubs who are providing football coaching for primary school girls aged 8 – 11 years and secondary school girls aged 11-14 years, we aim to support girls with limited experience to become regular participants in the game. By providing a safe, fun and supportive environment the girls we hope that they will be play freely without pressure or judgement.
Each festival will be hosted by a partner club and be supplemented with a monthly goalkeeping clinic and coach education training for parents.
